Charter Bus Parking & Dropoff Guide to Clearfield Sports Venues & Arenas
Let this guide take the guesswork out of where your group will load, unload, and park at Utah’s biggest stadiums! Because we don't own the vehicles, you're never limited to just one fleet on game day.
America First Field (Home of Real Salt Lake)
Fill out one quick form on Clearfield
Major Roadways to America First Field
Your bus will travel south from Clearfield along I-15 S before taking Exit 295 for 9000 South or Exit 293 for 10600 South. From there, State Street (US-89) and Monroe Street provide direct stadium access.
Charter Bus Drop-Off & Pickup at America First Field
For smooth passenger unloading, your driver can use the designated drop-off zone along the North Plaza on 9270 South or curbside on Monroe Street west of the stadium. Have everyone gather near the riot monument on the North Esplanade after the final whistle so your group can board quickly.
Charter Bus Parking & Waiting at America First Field
Oversized vehicle and charter bus parking is located in the North Lot off 9270 South or in designated surface areas along Monroe Street, which must be arranged with stadium management prior to match day. If primary stadium lots are full, your driver can stage off-site near the Shops at South Town or along 10000 South. Because Utah anti-idling rules limit buses to five minutes of idling, your driver will pull up once your group is ready.
Event-Day Closures & Traffic
Expect heavy congestion on State Street and 9000 South starting 90 minutes before kickoff, along with temporary post-match lane restrictions on 9270 South. Leaving Clearfield at least two hours early helps your group beat the Salt Lake Valley rush!
Delta Center (Home of the Utah Jazz and the Utah Mammoth)
Use a party bus or charter bus to catch the Utah Jazz or Utah Mammoth at Delta Center! Skip the downtown parking hunt and ride together.
Major Roadways to Delta Center
Coming south from Clearfield, your driver will take I-15 S to the 600 North or 400 South exits into Downtown Salt Lake City. Local approaches run along 300 West, 400 West, and South Temple.
Charter Bus Drop-Off & Pickup at Delta Center
Charter buses can actively load and unload passengers along the curb on 300 West near the main plaza or along 100 South on the south side of the arena. Curbside waiting is strictly prohibited by Salt Lake City traffic enforcement, so your group should step off promptly. After the buzzer, meet at the America First Square plaza before signaling your driver to pull up.
Charter Bus Parking & Waiting at Delta Center
The attached Park Place lot and Gateway garages have height clearances that cannot fit a 56-passenger charter bus. Instead, your bus can park in designated oversized surface lots west of 400 West, near 600 West, or stage near the Salt Palace Convention Center marshalling area. Be sure to budget separately for downtown oversized parking passes, as they are not included in your initial charter bus prices. Your driver will wait off-site until you text that everyone is outside.
Event-Day Closures & Traffic
Portions of 300 West and South Temple experience heavy pedestrian closures and police traffic control for an hour before and after major NBA and NHL games. Pad your schedule by 45 minutes if your trip overlaps with I-15 evening rush hour.
Rice–Eccles Stadium (Home of the Utah Utes)
Choosing a charter bus for a Saturday game at Rice–Eccles Stadium is the easiest way to cheer on the Utah Utes! You'll have plenty of room for tailgating coolers and fan gear while your driver navigates University of Utah campus traffic. Compare bus types online in under 30 seconds!
Major Roadways to Rice–Eccles Stadium
From Clearfield, buses head south on I-15 S to I-80 E and exit onto Foothill Drive (UT-186), or take the 600 South exit straight toward campus. 500 South, Mario Capecchi Drive, and Guardsman Way serve as the main arteries feeding the stadium precinct. Because climb routes up the East Bench get crowded on football Saturdays, your driver will pick the clearest corridor. You can relax in air-conditioned comfort the whole way!
Charter Bus Drop-Off & Pickup at Rice–Eccles Stadium
Your driver can drop passengers off along Wasatch Drive north of the stadium or near the designated loading zones off Guardsman Way. Avoid unloading on 500 South, where fast-moving traffic makes curbside stops unsafe. After the game, gather your group by the Olympic Cauldron Plaza before heading to your pickup zone.
Charter Bus Parking & Waiting at Rice–Eccles Stadium
Team buses and pre-permitted fan charters are directed to oversized parking areas near Guardsman Way or designated lots in Research Park on the east side of campus. Permits must be reserved in advance through University of Utah Commuter Services, as game-day lots sell out months ahead. If on-campus bus stalls are full, your driver will stage down the hill and return for pickup.
Event-Day Closures & Traffic
On Utes football game days, 1400 East (South Campus Drive) and sections of Guardsman Way close to general through-traffic several hours before kickoff. Plan to depart Clearfield at least three hours before kickoff so your group never misses the opening coin toss!
Stewart Stadium (Home of the Weber State Wildcats)
You can count on a 25-passenger minibus or full-size motorcoach for the quick 20-minute ride from Clearfield to Stewart Stadium to cheer on the Weber State Wildcats!
Major Roadways to Stewart Stadium
Traveling north from Clearfield is a breeze via I-15 N and I-84 E to Harrison Boulevard (UT-203), or directly up US-89 N along the mountainside. Harrison Boulevard and 36th Street lead right onto the Weber State University campus in Ogden. Your driver handles the steep campus grades with ease!
Charter Bus Drop-Off & Pickup at Stewart Stadium
Charter buses can pull in via 3850 South (University Circle) or Stadium Way on the west side of the venue to unload groups right near the Stewart Stadium gates. For athletic teams, visiting buses coordinate drop-offs directly behind the Marquardt Field House on the north end zone. Have your fans meet outside the West Ticket Booths after the fourth quarter so everyone walks to the bus together. It really is that easy!
Charter Bus Parking & Waiting at Stewart Stadium
Oversized vehicles can park in the lower W Lots along Harrison Boulevard or at the Dee Events Center just a mile south on Harrison, where massive surface lots easily accommodate 56-passenger motorcoaches.
Event-Day Closures & Traffic
Inside campus, Stadium Way and the upper A Lots are restricted to permit holders on Wildcat game days, and Harrison Boulevard slows down around 36th Street an hour before kickoff. Having your driver stage at the Dee Events Center avoids the tight post-game bottleneck on campus hills. Your group will be back in Clearfield in no time!
Quick Tips for Clearfield Game-Day Charter Bus Groups
Don't let stadiums slow down your Clearfield fan group or athletic roster on game day! Keep your entire group together before summoning your bus to the curb, double-check clear bag policies before stepping off the vehicle so nobody has to walk back to the bus bays, and reserve oversized parking passes as soon as you lock in your tickets.
